This week’s Tickle Paw Tuesday installment is a beautiful video from Nano Calvo on Vimeo.com who captured the little lovely moments that make up the lives of his “fanimaly” of pets. The video highlights the pure beauty that lives in the rise and fall of the chest of a beloved cat, and the sleepy wink from a treasured pooch. I always encourage pet parents to take more photos and videos of their companion animals, for when they are gone, you will surely turn to them for comfort and joy. One can never have too many photos of their beloved.
Check out the fantastic photography by Nano Calvo.
This week’s Tickle Paw Tuesday installment should get you ready to “spring” forward to welcome warmer weather, flowers, and feeding squirrels in the park. Squirrels are frisky and ready to roll here in Charlotte. The warm spring has them chasing their tails, each other, and hunting down the best hiding spots for their pantry bounty. They’ve always gotta think about banking more nuts.
If you’ve never fed squirrels in the park, live vicariously through this couple as they share their nutty treats with some very hungry squirrels.
This week’s installment of Tickle Paw Tuesday highlights the amazing talent and comedy created in Aardman Animation Studios. We are huge fans of Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and Creature Comforts. If you’ve never watched Creature Comforts, you have the opportunity to do so on Netflix (Season 1 is available), or you can buy the DVDs at Amazon.
I love the “Pets at the Vets” scenarios. Aardman creates magic by taking human thoughts and feelings as voiced by humans and giving them expression in the form of animals. The sweet dog with the E collar around his neck just does me in every time.
In light of the horrible explosions in Boston, we send our love and thoughts out to the amazing people of that beautiful city. Boston, we love you!
Have a Happy Tuesday!
This week’s installment of Tickle Paw Tuesday still has us giggling. There are many mysteries in life, but when you discover your phone is consistently busy, it may very well be because your cat “answered” it for you. The greatest part? The way the cat exits as though to say, “my job here is complete.”
This week’s installment of Tickle Paw Tuesday features the incredible mimicry of an African Grey Parrot who includes in his repertoire a rendition of “I Kissed a Girl.” Parrots are wonderful creatures, often picking random phrases out of the air that are pleasing to them or fun to say. Watch out, as the one time you say something you shouldn’t have may be the one thing they start repeating for the rest of their life!
